　To obtain a certified public psychologist qualification, it is essential to take and pass the national examination.To qualify for the examination, you are required to either take the necessary courses at the undergraduate and graduate schools and graduate, or after taking the necessary courses at the undergraduate school and gaining several years of practical experience in clinical practice. One national exam is scheduled for 1.

　In line with this, Osaka University of Human Sciences will start the "Certified Public Psychologist Curriculum" at the university and graduate school from April 2018.Target departments are Medical Psychology / Clinical Development Psychology, Health Psychology, and Graduate School of Health Psychology / Mental Health Psychology.
As a transitional measure, a "special qualification for examination" will be set up until the official psychologist law comes into effect, and qualifications will be given to those who are already engaged in psychological profession and students enrolled in psychological universities. Therefore, students enrolling in April 2017 are also eligible for the special exception.
