As of August 10, 2016 items such as "Soap Ball" are being developed.In the operation, mainly producers and directors, sports ambassadors and many sports creators are invited from outside to carry out a wide range of activities. It is also a sports genre that is currently attracting attention ahead of the 8 Tokyo Olympics.
The association, which has been promoting four projects, "Yuruspo Healthcare," "Oyako Yuru Sports," "Yuruspo Engineering Department," and "Yuruspo YOUTH," will newly start "Local Yuruspo."The concept is "interesting Japanese sports from rural areas".It is an attempt to discover the charm of the language and culture that has been passed down in the area, and to create a sport unique to the area together.
Currently, there are three events such as "OUR Battle" (developed by Tokushima University and Tokushima Shimbun) that incorporates Awa Odori into the snowball fight."Sports Karuta", which was born in collaboration with the Chugoku Shimbun in Hiroshima, challenges the theme written on the tag."Pearl soccer", which was jointly developed by St. Catherine University in Ehime and Ehime Shimbun, kicks a balance ball that looks like a pearl and puts it in a goal that imitates a shell.In each case, everyone in the area can move their bodies happily, and it has the potential to support the excitement of the local community as a town revitalization.
