 Games have the power to attract people and motivate them to work on tasks. It may be possible to make the monitoring of cognitive function, which requires long-term efforts, a task closer to daily life.With this motivation, research to measure cognitive function through games has been conducted for some time, but the games that are generally used are games that are simple enough to use only one cognitive function, or games that are less game-like. It's a repetitive series of disorganized mini-games.

 In this research, I decided to verify whether the complex and interesting gameplay seen in commercial games and the separation of elements seen in cognitive function tests can be compatible. By comparing the data of the action game "Potion", which BonBon Co., Ltd. was developing for cognitive function measurement, with the results of cognitive function tests, we analyzed whether elements in the game and cognitive function test scores are linked. did.

 As a result, a correlation was found between the in-game metrics and the results of cognitive function tests (e.g., movement using grass to evade detection and the rate of correct answers in a test to measure abstract thinking).
