Toyama Prefectural University develops professional human resources with both creativity and practical ability as a base of local knowledge.Through advanced research and development and cooperation with local industries, we are evolving as an attractive university.It has 3 departments in 9 faculties of Engineering, Information Engineering, and Nursing, and develops education to “enhance the ability to live as a person”.We have an excellent educational environment, with careful instruction through small-group education, cooperation with local governments and companies. A new school building will be completed on the Imizu Campus in 2020, and the DX Education Research Center will start operating in 2022.Furthermore, in 2024, the Faculty of Information Engineering will be newly established to develop digital experts who will create the future society.
