Kogakuin University has started the "ISDC Program" in which students work on issues presented by private companies with support funds with graduation thesis and design proposals. In 2016, students from the Faculty of Architecture and graduate students majoring in architecture will participate, but from 2017 onward, the university wants to expand to all faculties while observing the expansion of participating companies.

 According to Kogakuin University, the companies participating in this program are Mall SC Development (President Etsuhiro Kondo, Tokyo), which develops shopping center stores under the umbrella of Seven & i Holdings, and Fujita (Tokyo, Yoji Okumura), a general construction company. President).

 Multiple projects will be presented by the participating companies through open recruitment within the university, and students who wish to participate will prepare a research plan and apply.The research plan will be reviewed by the university and the company, and the participating students will be decided.Students will make effective use of support from companies, summarize their research results into graduation thesis and design proposals, and present them at the final presentation.
