The Faculty of Systems Science and Engineering, Kansai University is conducting research on "interview evaluation analysis by vital / behavior observation during job interviews" as one of the researches related to presentations and interviews.Nippon Telegraph and Telephone West Corporation fully cooperates in providing devices and analysis technology.This time, using the research results, we will start a joint trial "ICT interview training" (ICT = information and communication technology) for students.
In the research, in an environment assuming simulated interview training in job interviews, we extracted "pulse rate" (vital) and observed behavior with a wristband type device, and expressed behavior such as "interview / smile / line of sight" and interviewer. Training to improve self-presentation ability in interviews by utilizing the results of this research and ICT will be implemented as a job hunting support project.It is said that it will be introduced at an event (February 2018) for 2017 graduate job hunting students of Kansai University, preparing an environment close to the actual interview.By objectively digitizing and visualizing behaviors and reactions through training, it can be expected that the interviewee will know their own vital type and charm points, and will be useful in situations that require self-control such as future job interviews and presentations.
