Keio University Faculty of Policy Management, Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, Graduate School of Media and Governance, International Christian University Faculty of Liberal Arts, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences have signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing human resources development and education.
According to Keio University, the agreement includes mutual exchanges between students including international students, faculty and staff, academic exchanges and information exchanges related to education and research, and promotion of globalization.
As the first concrete initiative, "Sustainability from the Perspective of Global Ecosystem and Biological Diversity" provided by International Christian University from 1 (Lecturer, Professor Hiroaki Kitano, Professor of Osmer Memorial Science), Keio "Creation and Strategy of Data-Driven Society" provided by Gijuku University (Lecturer, Kazuto Ataka, Professor, Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, Keio University) will be offered as a credit transfer course for both schools.Credit transfer courses will be considered for expansion in the future.
International Christian University has a curriculum to acquire basic knowledge of mathematics, data science, and AI (artificial intelligence) in the medium-term plan from 2021 to 2025, with the aim of cultivating the data thinking necessary to play an active role in the future digital society.
