Keio University SFC Research Institute and Fujitsu conducted a demonstration experiment to collaborate and use their own attribute information (digital identity) managed digitally by individuals across organizations and services, and confirmed its usefulness for the first time in Japan. If it is put into practical use, personal attribute information can be used for various services such as job hunting and student discount services.

According to Fujitsu, the period of the demonstration experiment is from March 3th to April 17th.The attribute information of the digital student registration certificate issued by Keio University, which was developed based on the distributed identity technology of Microsoft Corporation, is requested by the site through the identity conversion gateway of Fujitsu at the conference room reservation site of Keio University Shonan Fujisawa Campus. It was verified whether the attribute information could be disclosed.

Furthermore, after authenticating users through the identity conversion gateway on the anonymous questionnaire site of Keio University SFC Research Institute in collaboration with Fujitsu, students do not disclose all attribute information using Fujitsu's confidential disclosure certification technology. I checked if I could answer the questionnaire.

As a result, it was found that the conference room reservation site can disclose the attribute information required by the site, and it was confirmed that the questionnaire site can answer the questionnaire without disclosing all the attribute information.

Fujitsu says that by putting this mechanism into practical use, users themselves will be able to link and use personal attribute information issued by companies, universities, and local governments for various services, leading to improved convenience.
