Hiroshima University will open the Department of International Co-creation in the Faculty of Integrated Sciences in April 2018. It is characterized by improving language skills through four years of consistent English education, gathering knowledge from multiple fields by integrating literary sciences, and taking on the challenge of solving global issues.  According to Hiroshima University, the Department of International Co-creation has a capacity of 40 people. Students study specialized subjects from the three perspectives of "culture and tourism," "peace and communication," and "environment and society," and Japanese students study abroad for about half a year in the second half of their second year. In the third year, experience a global internship at an overseas company or a multinational company.

 The common language of the department is English.In addition to thoroughly devoting English to Japanese students, foreign students will do their utmost to improve their Japanese proficiency.We will also focus on learning the 3rd and 4th languages.By studying together with Japanese and foreign students, we will cultivate a multifaceted perspective and cooperation, and tackle various issues from a global perspective beyond national, religion, language, and cultural barriers.
