According to Nippon Institute of Technology, the College Meister Program is a practical engineering education program that can be learned from the first year of admission. Since being selected for the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's "Distinguished University Education Support Program" in 2005, it has been a practical engineering education that provides hands-on experience of actual manufacturing rather than virtual experience (simulation), from planning to design, drafting, production and construction. have practicedStudents form a team and acquire both the qualities of a specialist, such as the specialized techniques and theories required of a Meister, and the grounding of a generalist, such as the negotiation and schedule management skills necessary to promote a project. There are about 500 "College Meisters" who have completed the program while in school, and there are currently 13 workshops, including the Formula Workshop.
