The MIRAI Program for Promoting Understanding of Japan is a project promoted by the Japanese government (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), and invites talented young people who are expected to play an active role in the future between Japan and Europe and the Caucasian Central Asia region as a group.
The planning and operation of the program is entrusted to the Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE). Promote the discovery and training of pro-Japanese and Japan-savvy people.In addition, by having the participants actively communicate about Japan's diplomatic stance and attractiveness, etc., we will contribute to improving the image of Japan in the international community and to fostering sustained interest in Japan. It aims to promote understanding of Japan in Europe and to develop Japan-Europe relations based on deep mutual understanding.
The delegation will visit the facilities of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, the largest stock exchange in Japan, and experience the vibrancy of the city in the traditional Asakusa shopping district. Learn about revitalization activities.In Osaka, they will visit MIBIO, a facility run by Osaka Prefecture that supports the modern manufacturing industry.
In addition, they will visit Kobe University and Sophia University to engage in intellectual exchanges with students of the same generation, deepen mutual understanding and foster friendship through campus tours, Japanese cultural experiences, and opinion exchanges. Build a network of people.
By learning a wide range of initiatives and challenges related to Japan's economy, business, and the environment (green and eco), participants will deepen their interest and understanding of Japanese society and policies, communicate the appeal of Japan, and promote Japan and the world.
