The Electrical Railway Systems Laboratory of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kogakuin University, is offering a lecture on the Railway College's ``60 Years with Railway Technology - Utilization of Private Railway Technology and Contribution to the World'' for people working on railways. The course will begin on Sunday, October 2023, 10.
Kogakuin University is offering railway courses with the aim of contributing to raising the level of the railway industry. Since the course began in 2011, approximately 1,700 practical personnel from railway operators, related equipment manufacturing companies, and trading companies that export railway technology have studied in a systematic course on railways in general.
Although it was canceled in recent years due to the coronavirus pandemic, it has now been decided to restart with changes to the lecture method and number of courses.The first session, October 10nd, will be held in person, with Professor Emeritus Satoru Sone of the University of Tokyo, a leading authority on railway engineering, taking the podium and giving a lecture on issues facing Japan's railways.
Participation is free, and the first 300 participants will be accepted.Those wishing to participate must apply by email.
