The Statistics Bureau of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications has begun recruiting participants for the online data science course "Introduction to Data Science for Working Adults," which will begin on Tuesday, June 2024, 6. Aimed at university students and working adults, this introductory edition teaches basic knowledge of statistical data analysis, such as the basics of statistics and how to read statistical data, and can be used to utilize familiar data.

 "Introduction to Data Science for Working Adults" is an introductory edition that teaches basic knowledge of statistical data analysis. Over the course of 1 weeks, you will learn everything from the basics of statistics to how to obtain and use official statistical data through 10 to 6 video lectures of about 9 minutes each. The lecturers include Professor Kazuto Ataka of the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, Keio University. A certificate of completion will be issued if you achieve a certain level of performance on each week's confirmation test and final assignment.

 The course period is scheduled to run from June 6th (Tuesday) to August 11th (Tuesday). Anyone can register and take the course for free. Registration for the course is scheduled to close on Monday, July 8th.
