The "Industry-Academia Council on the Future of Recruitment and University Education" organized by the Japan Association of National Universities and Keidanren has compiled a report for 2020 and announced an industry-academia collaboration policy such as conducting internships during long vacations.
According to the Japan Association of National Universities, in university education, industry and academia will jointly work on education and human resource development as well as research and development, aiming for comprehensive organization-to-organization collaboration.We request the government to jointly develop measures and regulatory reforms aimed at developing human resources for data science.
In recruitment and internships, we will further promote diversification and double tracking of recruitment, and internships will be conducted during long-term university holidays such as summer vacation.One-day internships without work experience will no longer use this name.
In the development of human resources for regional revitalization, both industry and academia consider the importance of local universities, and industry, academia and government in the region will share a vision and promote cooperation for industrial promotion.
