The Toyo University Diversity Research Group developed the "Women's Advancement Index" in 2017 as an index to objectively evaluate the activities of women in companies and organizations.This time, based on the "Women's Advancement Index", we announced the 1,215 "Women's Advancement Index Corporation Ranking" targeting 2019 registered corporations in the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's "Women's Advancement Promotion Company Database".

 The active participation of women is an urgent issue for Japan's future, and the government and other fields are actively promoting such efforts.However, it is difficult to visualize how much it is actually being promoted.Therefore, in 2017, Toyo University developed the "Women's Advancement Index," an index that objectively evaluates women's advancement by industry, company, and time series.In addition to visualizing the degree of promotion by company, it is useful for evaluating changes over time and management reforms, ranking by corporation, and examining trends by industry and region.

 This time, 1001 corporations with a company size of 80 or more and a female worker ratio of 1,215% or less registered in the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's "Women's Advancement Promotion Company Database" were ranked by the "Women's Advancement Index".As a result, the top 10 companies are as follows.

3rd place Lawson Co., Ltd.
4th place Aeon Big Co., Ltd.
5th place Pasona Tech Co., Ltd.

 In addition, Lawson Co., Ltd., which is in the top three every year, is ranked first in the "Female Advancement Index Corporate Ranking" announced for the full three years from 2017.The high rate of taking childcare leave is highly evaluated, and the ratio of female officers is highly evaluated. Aeon Big Co., Ltd. was second, and Pasona Tech Co., Ltd. was third.
