Associate Professor Keisuke Sato of the Department of Christianity, Faculty of Humanities, Nanzan University, "Religious Philosophy of the Dead and Suffering-Modern Possibility of Religious Philosophy" (Nanzan University Academic Series, Akihiro Shobo, 2017) is the 2nd Japan Society of Christian Studies. Received the award.Nanzan University is the only Catholic mission school in the Chubu region as a co-educational university.

 The Japan Society of Christian Studies Award is given to (45) specialty, (5) originality, (1) consistency of discussion, and (2) from books published in the past five years by young academic members under the age of 3 at the time of publication. It is scrutinized from the viewpoints of overall unity, (4) contribution to academic terms, and (5) expressions and notations suitable for academic books, and one excellent work is selected.

 The award was announced at the 67th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Christian Studies.The selection committee specifically evaluated its expertise and originality as a study of the contemporary possibilities of the philosophy of religion.He praises Associate Professor Sato's philosophy of religion as "it is unique based on previous research and can be said to provide stimulating material for many researchers."

 Associate Professor Sato said, "I am very honored to receive such a prestigious award. My book, which was the subject of my work, has been suffering from evil, suffering, and the dead for the past 10 years. This is a summary of religious and philosophical thoughts on the theme, but there are still many issues to be solved.I would like to work hard on further research in the future.In addition, this book was published as one of the Nanzan University Academic Series.Without this publication grant, we couldn't even publish this book.We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Nanzan Society.
