Meiji University Sports Newspaper Club Receives Best Award for 3 Consecutive Years in University Newspaper Contest
The Meiji University Athletic Association / Meiji University Sports Newspaper Club won the highest award for the third consecutive year in the "5th University Newspaper Contest (Sports Newspaper Category)".This fifth contest will be held at Waseda University, Keio University, Rikkyo University, Hosei University, Meiji University's Tokyo 3 Universities, Kansai Gakuin University, Doshisha University, and Ritsumeikan University's Kansai 5 Universities. A total of 5 universities participated, including Gakuin University, Daito Bunka University, Chuo University, Teikyo University, Toyo University, Kyoto Sangyo University, and Kinki University.In the final round, the ranking was competed for the total of the article award, the photo award, and the convex / layout award, and the Meiji University Sports Newspaper Club reached the highest award.
Hiroto Sakamoto, editor-in-chief of the newspaper (3rd year of the Faculty of Commerce), looked back on the year of the Meiji University Sports Newspaper and said, "I was fortunate to have more activities in each department (athletic association) than usual.
