Meisei University will reorganize the course of the Faculty of Business Administration from 2017.Focusing on the promotion of regional revitalization, we have set up 5 courses such as the "Tama Brand Creation Course" with the aim of responding to the needs of the local community centered on the Tama area.
According to Meisei University, the Faculty of Business Administration will reorganize the current three-course system into a five-course system.In addition to the "Tama Brand Creation Course", the new courses are "Tourism / Bridal Course", "Business Succession / Entrepreneurship Course", "Finance / Accounting Profession Course", and "Advanced Practical Human Resources Development Course".
Of these, the "Tama Brand Creation Course" learns about measures to revitalize the region and improve the living satisfaction of local residents, mainly in the Tama area. The "Tourism / Bridal Course" will train human resources involved in the service industry such as tourism and bridal-related activities as the number of foreign tourists increases ahead of the Tokyo Olympics.
The "Business Succession / Entrepreneurship Course" teaches you how to start a new business or start a business. The "Finance / Accounting Profession Course" trains human resources who will become accounting specialists at financial institutions and general companies. The "advanced practical human resources development course" is said to develop human resources who will be able to work immediately in private companies and local governments.
In addition, Meisei University has announced that it will reorganize the Faculty of Humanities, Department of Psychology, to establish the Faculty of Psychology (under the plan to establish it), and increase the capacity of the Faculty of Education by 30 people.
