"WIL" is defined as a unique learning style in which students learn independently and collaborate to solve problems.We aim to "cultivate the ability to continue learning for a lifetime" by learning through action (Work) and at the same time accumulating experience that immediately reflects it in practice.

　"WIL" developed at Otemon Gakuin University is called "Oidai Will" and is a regular course that satisfies the three elements of "social significance," "collaboration," and "transmission" based on the educational philosophy. Register and visualize subjects as a WIL program.Furthermore, in the future, extracurricular educational practice will be certified as a WIL program if it clears the four conditions of "time", "guidance", "recording", and "evaluation" in addition to the three elements.

　Based on this, in 2020, we will first target regular courses, and 6 courses in total from all 57 faculties and the Basic Education Organization will be registered in the WIL program.On the official website, the features of this WIL program, the comprehensive learning program of the Faculty of Economics, the "Nikkei STOCK League" that puts ideas and knowledge into practice through virtual stock investment, and the internship program "Gamba Osaka Long-term Practical Internship" unique to Otemon Gakuin University ”And other concrete practical examples are also posted.It also introduces related SDGs themes as a result of WIL.

　From 2021, we will certify the WIL program based on 3 elements and 4 conditions for extracurricular activities led by students who are different from clubs and lessons.It is an original initiative of Otemon Gakuin University to certify and encourage it as an educational program even if it is not a regular course, and we will strive to be recognized as "WIL program when it comes to Otemon Gakuin".
