It is the first time in about 1967 years that Kyushu University has established a new faculty since the establishment of the Faculty of Dentistry in June 6.The newly established "School of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation (Kyushu University)" sets the challenges facing the global society and sets different perspectives and academics from collaboration with people from all over the world. The purpose is to train global human resources who will work to create new innovations through "co-creation" that aims to integrate various knowledge and create together.

　A wide range of academic fields, "human / life area" where you can learn about the generation / evolution of life, the mechanism of human thinking / cognition / judgment through biology, cognitive science, brain science, etc., the mechanism of language, multicultural coexistence, and religious views. "People and social areas" to learn through sociology, cultural anthropology, etc., "national and regional areas" to learn national and regional history, characteristic economic and social phenomena, etc. through political science, economics, etc., Earth Learn the four areas of the "Earth / Environment Area" where you can learn about the impact of resources and life on the environment through earth and planetary science, social and safety system science, etc.

　The characteristics of learning are a curriculum that integrates literary sciences, collaborative learning in which themes are discussed in groups, English education to learn current affairs of the world and Japan in English according to the level of proficiency, study abroad at overseas universities, Japan. An example is "Class Share," an educational environment where both human and international students can study together.

There are four types of entrance exams for the Faculty of Co-creation: AO entrance exams, recommended entrance exams, international entrance exams, and general entrance exams. Details will be announced after March 4.
