Odakyu Electric Railway Co., Ltd. will hold a monitor tour to Hakone on December 2016th and 12th, 16, inviting about 18 international students from more than 2 countries and regions.
Due to the increase in foreign tourists visiting Japan in recent years, many foreign tourists are visiting along the Odakyu Line such as Shinjuku, Hakone and Shonan areas.In this project, foreign students living in Japan will be invited to a monitor tour to the Hakone area, and the situation will be disseminated to the world through the SNS of each international student.
By having foreign students introduce the new charm of Hakone to the world widely, we will introduce the new charm of Hakone by attracting foreign tourists visiting Japan who have never visited Hakone. The aim is to increase the number of repeat customers.
On the day of the Hakone monitor tour, participants will board the limited express romance car from Shinjuku station, and after arriving at Hakone Yumoto station, they will freely tour the Hakone area.After the tour, the photos taken by the participants will be posted on the foreign language website of Odakyu Electric Railway. (Scheduled to be released in January 2017)
