A group of Professor Takashi Nagaoka, Professor Hisashi Yoshida, and Professor Yuichi Kimura of the Department of Bioinformatics, Faculty of Biophysical Engineering, Kinki University, won the Grand Prix "Prime Minister of the Cabinet" in the new business model category at the "1st Super Productivity Improvement Award" sponsored by the Japan Junior Chamber. Received the "Minister's Award" and the "Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award".The award is given to individuals and teams who have proposed excellent cutting-edge business models that make full use of AI, big data, and IoT.The award ceremony was held on July 7nd at Pacifico Yokohama.
The research group is titled "Creation of Super Life-From Cradle Data to Graveyard Data-", a precise medical big data system that utilizes cutting-edge artificial intelligence and the cloud, and artificial intelligence "KindAI". We devised a business model centered on the above and applied for the "New Business Model Division".
This proposal was highly evaluated, and the Grand Prix "Prime Minister's Award" given to the model that got the highest score in the "New Business Model Category" and the Minister's Award proposed by students, researchers, and other academic officials are evaluated accordingly. Received the "Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award" given to the model that received the prize.
In the future, the research group will build a health management system using artificial intelligence "KindAI", develop an application that creates an automatic database of medical records by applying artificial intelligence and image processing technology, and also develop multiple applications installed in smartphones. We aim to develop a life log application that automatically grasps and records eating habits and sleeping habits by fusing sensors.
In addition, the artificial intelligence "KindAI" is used to convert daily life data into big data, and we propose appropriate medical care based on this.Ultimately, from the cradle to the graveyard, we will realize a partner who will watch over the health of the individual and accompany him.
