The survey was conducted by dividing the 47 prefectures of Japan into six areas: Hokkaido/Tohoku, Kanto/Koshinetsu, Tokai/Hokuriku, Kansai, Chugoku/Shikoku, and Kyushu/Okinawa.A web survey was conducted from July 6 to 3, 2023 for members of "Mynavi Advancement" who are third-year high school students (scheduled to graduate in March 3).The number of valid responses was 2022, and the results of 7 of those who wished to enter university were tabulated.

　According to the survey, the university recognition ranking by area is as follows.In each area except Kansai, national universities ranked first in the recognition ranking.Kinki University, a private university only in Kansai, ranked first.
Hokkaido/Tohoku area: 1st Tohoku University, 2nd Hokkaido University, 3rd Tohoku Gakuin University
Kanto/Koshinetsu Area: 1st University of Tokyo, 2nd Waseda University, 3rd Meiji University
Tokai/Hokuriku area: 1st Nagoya University, 2nd Chukyo University, 3rd Meijo University
Kansai Area: 1st Kinki University, 2nd Doshisha University, 3rd Kansai University
Chugoku/Shikoku Area: 1st Hiroshima University, 2nd Okayama University, 3rd Yamaguchi University
Kyushu/Okinawa area: 1st Kyushu University, 2nd Nagasaki University, 3rd Kurume University

　Sendai University in the Hokkaido/Tohoku area, Aoyama Gakuin University in the Kanto/Koshinetsu area, Chukyo University in the Tokai/Hokuriku area, and Kinki University in the Kansai area topped the university image rankings by area. University, Chugoku/Shikoku area was Okayama University, Kyushu/Okinawa area was Kyushu University.It became a different lineup from the first place in recognition.
