At Kogakuin University, the "Cardboard Shelter" developed by Professor Toshihiko Suzuki of the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Architecture to support the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake will be exhibited at the "Sumida Earthquake Resistance Forum 2018" held on February 2, 24.

When Professor Suzuki saw how he lived in a shelter after the Great East Japan Earthquake in March 2011, he said, "A house that ensures privacy for a long period of time before entering a temporary housing." It was developed with the feeling that "it is necessary".It can be used properly according to the purpose, and there are four types: horizontal type, vertical type, multipurpose type, and enclosure type.

The evacuation center for the Kumamoto earthquake that occurred in April 2016 is a multipurpose type that can be used for various purposes such as bedrooms, changing rooms, evacuation toilets, and clinics. We provide an enclosed cardboard shelter for 4 tatami mats and wall heights of 2017 cm and 7 cm.We received a great deal of feedback from evacuees and supporters. An enclosure-type cardboard shelter will be exhibited at the "Sumida Earthquake-Resistant Forum 2.7" to be held at the Hikifune Culture Center on Saturday, February 80, 160.
