Chiba University is working to further strengthen its academic research and further promote the social implementation of its research results in order to realize its new vision of becoming a world-leading Chiba University. By widely disseminating Chiba University researchers and research results through "CHIBADAI NEXT," we aim to promote a wide range of collaborations, including industry, other universities, public research institutes, and local governments.
In the serialization category of "CHIBADAI NEXT", Chiba University, which actively engages in cross-disciplinary collaboration and approaches to a single issue as a comprehensive university with 10 faculties, is considered particularly socially important. The contents of the research on the theme are introduced.
Currently, there is the only horticultural department at a national university, "From Drug Discovery to Drones and Space - Forefront of Bio-Research (6 sessions in total)," which introduces unique research undertaken by top leaders in the fields of biotechnology and life science. "Horticulture Innovation - Creating the Future of 'Food' and 'Greenery'" (5 lectures in total) unique to Chiba University. 6 themes of "What is 'disaster treatment science' that protects the mind and body from disasters? (3 times in total)" are being released.
At Chiba University, we would like to appeal to the general public through the serialization, and to use it as an opportunity to create external collaborations in order to produce more effective results for the issues.
