"Shufu JOB Soken", a research organization of "Shufu JOB" (business operator: Bestyle Co., Ltd.), a human resources service specializing in housewives, is a working housewife with the theme of "Job hunting advice and oyakaku (confidence)". We conducted a questionnaire survey on the strata.712 valid responses.

"Oyakaku" means that there are parents who interfere with the job hunting of their children, so the company that issues the offer also contacts the parents of the students to confirm their joining. In recent years, it is becoming established as a keyword for new graduate recruitment activities against the background of an increase in the number of declining job offers due to the opposition of parents rather than the intention of the individual."Oyakaku" because it confirms the intentions of parents.

According to the survey, 81.7% of parents answered that they "want to give advice" to their children who are looking for a job.In addition, 18.4% of parents answered "good" and 45.5% answered "bad" about the impression of a company that confirms joining the company not only by the prospective employee but also by parents.Parents who want to actively give advice on their children's job hunting tend to have a better impression of "Oyakaku", and those who do not give advice tend to have a worse impression of "Oyakaku".

Those who answered that they had the impression that "Oyakaku" was "good" or "somewhat good" said, "I think it's polite." "I don't think it's a bad thing for parents to get consent so that they don't decline the offer for their own reasons."

On the other hand, some respondents who answered that "Oyakaku" had a "bad" or "rather bad" impression, "If a child starts work, parents don't matter? I think "" I just can't think of it. Parents, parents, parents ... "" I want you to treat me as an individual nowadays when I'm trying to lower my adult age. I think it's an unattractive company in the same industry because many people declined after being offered a job offer. "
