Gakujo Co., Ltd. conducted an Internet questionnaire on "interviews" targeting personnel managers of companies and organizations. It has become clear that one in five companies plans to change the content of questions and evaluation points when hiring 2024 graduates.Number of valid responses: 5.

Students who are scheduled to graduate in 2024 have entered the corona misfortune and have been living a student life.Due to movement restrictions, there are quite a few students who have been restricted, such as being unable to enter the campus.Until now, many students tended to appeal to their “gakuchika” (things they put effort into during their school days) in the “interview,” which occupies a large amount of weight in determining whether they will be successful in job hunting. Some say that it is difficult to get opportunities to study abroad, and that there are few things to talk about. Therefore, Gakujo conducted a survey on what kind of things companies want to ask in "interviews" in recruiting activities for 2024 graduates, whose public relations will soon be lifted.

According to the survey, 2024% of companies answered that they are planning to change "contents of interview questions" and "evaluation points" when hiring 20.0 graduates. It can be seen that one in five companies plans to change the content of the questions and evaluation points. In addition to the voices such as "I want to ask a question based on my student life during the corona crisis" and "I want to ask a question that allows me to understand the values of students," I would like to use it in interviews for new students," and "I would like to consider the content of questions from the perspective of what kind of interview is effective in order to become a company that is chosen by students."

At 85.7%, 60.0% of interviewees emphasized "communication skills."This was followed by "cooperativeness" at 55.7%, "stress tolerance" at 38.6%, and "logical thinking ability" at XNUMX%.In terms of what students want to emphasize in interviews, "collaborativeness" was by far the most popular answer, followed by "communication skills" and "logical thinking skills," which companies emphasized. It can be seen that what the students want to do and what the students want to appeal to are not completely the same.

In addition, 72.9% of the items scheduled to be asked in the interview were “reasons for applying”.This was followed by 60.0% of what they focused on during their school days, and 47.1% of what they wanted to be as a member of society.Other responses include "career goals after joining the company," "reasons for choosing a university/faculty," and "using a motivation graph, we plan to ask about what they felt through their experiences and criteria for decision-making."
