The Department of Physical Therapy at Kio University will hold a lecture titled "How to walk as a PT - A journey to find a new spot where PTs can shine" on December 20, 2023 to commemorate the 12th anniversary of the school's founding.Participation fee is free.
At Kio University, the Department of Physical Therapy is the first four-year private university in the Kansai region to have a physical therapy department, and has produced over 4 graduates to date, most of whom work as physical therapists at medical and nursing care facilities in Japan. Some of our graduates are now working in a variety of ways, making use of their qualifications.
Therefore, this time, as part of the 20th anniversary project, five graduates who are active in entrepreneurs, politicians, equipment development, research, and overseas hospitals will discuss concrete ways to pave a path in non-clinical fields. We will hold lectures to talk about methods, hardships, and rewards.Additionally, after the lecture, a social gathering is planned for alumni (including those who have completed graduate school).Children are also welcome to attend, and a children's room will be set up to broadcast the lecture.As advance reservations are required, those wishing to participate must apply by filling out the application form on the Kio University website.
