 "SDGs QUEST Mirai Koshien" is a contest in which high school students come up with action ideas to solve social issues.High school students form teams to independently explore SDGs, create and present various action ideas.In order to develop ``leaders of a sustainable society'' as described in the new curriculum guidelines for high schools, we aim to encourage high school students to engage in activities from the perspective of SDGs aimed at solving social issues.

 In 2023, it will be held in 32 areas in 19 prefectures, targeting 4,800 schools.Nippon Institute of Technology supports this purpose and has a strong desire to cooperate with high school students' efforts to raise their awareness of SDGs and environmental conservation, so we decided to sponsor the local Saitama prefecture tournament as a gold partner.

 Since acquiring ISO2001 certification in 14001, Nippon Institute of Technology has been promoting environmental conservation activities throughout the university.Inheriting and developing this tradition, in recent years we have been actively engaged in SDGs activities, encouraging faculty and students to engage in related research and activities.On the other hand, from the perspective that engineering plays a major role in "creating a sustainable society," we believe that it is meaningful for Nippon Institute of Technology, which advocates "practical engineering education," to participate in "SDGs QUEST Future Koshien."  The final judging for the Saitama Prefectural Tournament will be held on February 2024, 2, and each award will be decided.
