In April 2025, Osaka Sangyo University aims to reorganize the current Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Design Engineering and establish three new science faculties: the Faculty of Information Design, the Faculty of Architecture and Environmental Design, and the Faculty of Systems Engineering.

The Faculty of Information Design develops human resources who can connect people and create a people-friendly society through information design. One of the features of the program is practice-based learning (PBL) subjects that cultivate problem-finding and technical problem solving skills. In order to acquire information design and construction skills used in the real world such as programming, application production, network construction, data science, web, information media production, digital content, etc., we have set up practical-based exercises from the first year, and further Deepen your learning from many experiences. In addition, through various workplaces such as game production companies, system development companies, and nursing care facilities for the elderly, field practice is provided to learn how to propose and problem-solve information systems and information media that meet social needs, and to learn how to work as a member of society. We will also introduce a career program into the curriculum starting in the first year, in order to hone the skills necessary for students and prepare them for job hunting.

At the ``Faculty of Architecture and Environmental Design,'' students can learn about most areas related to things, architecture, the environment, space, nature, cities, and design, and develop ``designers'' who are skilled in practical work through comprehensive small-group education. Starting from the second year, students are divided into six courses: ``Product Design Course,'' ``Architectural Design Course,'' ``Environmental Design Course,'' ``Spatial Design Course,'' ``Natural Design Course,'' and ``Urban Design Course,'' and students are exposed to learning in each course for one year. You can then choose a course and efficiently acquire skills that will help you succeed in your desired field.

The School of Systems Engineering trains engineers who can create new systems that open up the future. Starting from the first year, students are divided into seven courses: Mechanical Systems Course, Mechanical Design Course, Automotive Engineering Course, Railway Engineering Course, Transportation Systems Course, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Course, and Information and Electronic Engineering Course. Students can learn about "systems engineering," which is information technology such as programming, AI, and control, and acquire the ability to integrate software and hardware. In addition, by developing reading comprehension and written expression skills specific to engineering, students can acquire communication skills and logical thinking skills as engineers.

The tentative name and installation plan is still being planned, so the contents are tentative and subject to change.
