On July 2019, 7, the Department of Media Expression, Faculty of Informatics, Bunkyo University, which trains human resources who collect, judge, analyze, and plan and express media information such as video, publishing, advertising, and marketing, is in creative Shonan. "Advertising Design Symposium & Student Works Exhibition" will be held at the Chigasaki Citizens' Culture Center to introduce its charm.
It has been 40 years since the Faculty of Informatics opened a campus in Shonan.In commemoration of that, we planned "Advertising Design Symposium & Student Works Exhibition" to deepen understanding and attachment to Shonan and to make people widely aware of the Faculty of Informatics of Bunkyo University.
At the event, students will give presentations on "Shonan's advertising, public relations, and tourism design," and students from three seminars related to advertising design will exhibit their works.We also plan a symposium inviting guests who are involved in creative work, mainly in Chigasaki City.At the symposium, under the theme of "Let's talk now! Shonan's creative spirits", a lecture "History and creative culture of Shonan" by Mr. Tatsuya Suzuki, the chief editor of the Kanagawa newspaper, and "Shonan (Chigasaki)" by Mr. Minoru Ogawa, the director of the Chigasaki Museum of Art. "Entertainment and Culture" will be held.After the lecture, there will be a panel discussion by Mr. Hiroaki Mori, the executive committee chairman of the Chigasaki Film Festival, and Mr. Shouma Hirai, a singer-songwriter.Admission to the event is free and no prior application is required.
