VSN, Inc., a group company of the Adecco Group that provides engineer human resources services, will start an industry-academia collaboration project in which its active engineers are dispatched to the university as advisors in collaboration with the university.
Due to the increase in university class hours and the decrease in the number of students, it is not possible to devote sufficient time and human resources to research and development, and the current situation is that students also lack the IT skills that are indispensable for improving research efficiency. Therefore, VSN engineers collaborate with the university and participate in research and PBL classes (problem-solving learning). We will give advice from the perspective of working adults so that advanced research can be promoted more efficiently, and support the development of students through research so that they can play an active role as human resources who are ready to work after graduation.
On the other hand, VSN engineers aim to acquire skills that can respond to the DX (digital transformation) era by touching on the knowledge of various universities in a wide range of fields. In addition, through support for university instructors and students, we will raise the attitude of pursuing specialized technical skills as an engineer and create growth opportunities that are different from our main business, which will lead to improved job satisfaction.
Currently, the universities and laboratories that VSN has started to collaborate with are Atsuko Yamazaki Laboratory, Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Shibaura Institute of Technology, and Koichi Nakagawa Laboratory, Graduate School of Economics, Osaka University.
