At Osaka College of Music, we are soliciting original songs from students at the request of Kakuhachi Co., Ltd., the distributor of "Osaka Airport Curry" on sale at Kansai International Airport. The awards ceremony for the adopted songs will be held on July 2016, 7.
"Osaka Airport Curry" is a curry developed by the long-established pub "Kakuhachi" in Toyonaka City in October 2015 using locally produced vegetables. We use vegetables grown in the organic fertilizer "Itami Airport No. 10" that we used.Part of the sales will be used for social contribution activities such as welfare activities in the local city of Toyonaka, and in August 2, it was adopted as a project covered by the Toyonaka City "Small and Medium Enterprise Challenge Project Subsidy".
Kakuhachi, a product developer, asked Osaka College of Music, which is also in Toyonaka City, to produce a PR song in order to raise the profile of "Osaka Airport Curry" as a new local specialty.In response to this request, Osaka College of Music produced music by the students of the "Music Creation Major" opened in 2016, and the students of the other newly established major "Music Communication Major" led the competition.The selection will be repeated from all 15 songs collected, and the award ceremony for the adopted songs will be held at Osaka College of Music on July 2016, 7.It is said that a total of 15 meals of "Osaka Airport Curry" will be given to the adopted songs.
The adopted PR song will be shown at each sales space and sales site at Kansai International Airport and Osaka International Airport.Utilizing the young power of students and the power of music, we will promote Osaka's new specialties nationwide through industry-academia collaboration. "Osaka Airport Curry" is 1 yen (tax included) per piece.
