On June 2019, 6, the Neurorehabilitation Research Center of Kio University held a seminar, and more than 8 people from all over the country participated.
Rehabilitation that draws out the plasticity of the central nervous system by applying the evidence of neuroscience is called "neurorehabilitation".By analyzing changes / improvements in motor behavior, cognitive / learning ability, and changes in brain function, we will approach the neural mechanism of rehabilitation effect and develop an effective method that is more suitable for the subject.
The Kio University Neurorehabilitation Research Center is the core center of neurorehabilitation research in Japan, and plays a role in connecting research and practice in collaboration with medical institutions and educational institutions. The seminars hosted by the seminars have received a great deal of attention, and are flooded with requests for participation from all over the country, from Okinawa to Hokkaido.
This seminar focuses on understanding humans from cognitive, motor control, learning, sociality, physicality, and development. Seven lectures were held, including "Mental Mechanism" (Atsushi Matsuo) and "Body Mechanism that Brings Motor Learning" (Makoto Coldmizu).More than 300 people from various fields participated and the venue was full.
The sponsored Neurorehabilitation Research Center said, "I was worried about how much I could share with everyone who participated, but when I looked at the answers to the questionnaire, I realized that it was the correct answer in the form of a seminar like this one. During the question and answer session, very high-level questions were asked, and I was deeply moved by your daily efforts while feeling that I had to do further research. "The next event will be held on February 2020, 2, entitled "From Human Understanding to Rehabilitation".
