Reitaku University is conducting "Reitaku-Regional Collaboration Training" to promote PBL (Project Based Learning) throughout the university. In 4, which is the fourth year, fieldwork is limited due to the corona virus, and we are actively engaged in online interview surveys and group work.

"Reitaku / Regional Collaboration Training" is to think and propose solutions from the student's point of view about the problems that the Kashiwa City Hall in Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture and local companies are actually facing. The purpose is to experience the basics of PBL by taking this training in the first grade, and to lead to independent learning based on the students' own ideas from the second grade onwards.

2020 people have taken the "Reitaku-Regional Collaboration Training" in 118. About three times as many as in 2019.Students who have experienced the Corona disaster seem to feel the importance of creating new value even in limited activities, and when asked about the power they want to gain through practical training, they asked "creativity (power to create new value). ) ”Was mentioned first.

Students are working on solving 10 issues provided by Kashiwa City Hall, AEON MALL Kashiwa, Kashiwa Leather Co., Ltd., Chiyoda Zouhana Co., Ltd., etc. From October 10 to January 23, 2021, group work and interviews with trainee companies will be held online. A result presentation (at Zoom) will be held on February 1rd.

After the training, a "problem-solving workshop (tentative name)" will be held. An extracurricular program is implemented in which teams find issues, go through workshops, and finally propose solutions (products and services).By working on the training, it will lead to the development of entrepreneurs who turn problem-solving into business (commercialization).
